“Best independent power supply Short Film” Award
Grünwald near Munich, September 30, 2015 – LuvSide won at this year’s Off-Grid Experts Workshop on September 25 and 26 in Memmingen one of the prestigious awards. The company from Grünwald near Munich builds and sells vertical small wind turbines (SWT) to generate electricity from wind energy, and has been recognized for its short in the short film category. The awarding of the off-grid Experts Awards was first held in four different categories. Prizes were awarded to innovative developments and projects in the field of self-sufficient energy supply. LuvSide was nominated in advance in the short film category for its corporate video “The dream of self-sufficient energy supply” and won against some strong competitors. Rolf Hoffmann accepted the award for the “Best energy independence short film” in the Congress awards ceremony in the off-grid Experts Awards 2015 Memminger Stadthalle. More than 400 guests from around the world visited the 4th Off-Grid Experts Workshop on September 25 and 26 in the Memminger Stadthalle. More than 30 renowned exhibitors from Germany and around the world presented their innovations and user-oriented services of the grid power supply. LuvSide made its first appearance with its innovative vertical wind turbine as an exhibitor with its own stand. CEO Rolf Hoffmann has also held a lecture entitled “Vertical wind turbine rotors for autonomous power supply” on 25 September. The Congress addressed experts from the energy industry, entrepreneurs, installers, representatives of governmental and non-governmental organizations in development cooperation, science and research as well as to individuals.
