In the windy regions of South Africa, small wind turbines are an adequate option for taking the power supply into one\u2019s own hands. In any case, they are the cheaper and more environmentally friendly alternative to diesel generators, which are harmful to health and the environment. Our aim is to anchor this awareness in the South African population.<\/p>\t\t\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

<\/p>

With the support of the Renewable Energy Solutions Program (<\/span>RES-Program<\/span><\/a>) of the German <\/span>Energy Export Initiative funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs <\/span>and Climate Action (BMWK), LuvSide has installed it\u2019s very first small wind turbines in South Africa <\/span>in early March 2024 \u2013 four magestic and efficient LS Double Helix 1.0. <\/span>The four turbines are in the popular V&A Waterfront in Cape Town and are therefore visible to a wide national and international audience.<\/p>

With the four LS Double Helix 1.0 small wind turbines installed on behalf of our customer, V&A Waterfront Holdings (Pty) ltd in Cape Town, we want to generate enthusiasm among South Africa\u2019s population for this sustainable, low-noise and visually attractive way of generating electricity.<\/p>\t\t\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

At the same time, the Africa Energy Indaba-Convention<\/a> took place in Cape Town. This energy conference clearly demonstrated the positive attitude of South Africans towards renewable energies. LuvSide was represented at the convention by its african sales partner ESA (Energy Systems Africa).<\/p>\t\t\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
