Built-in Overload Clutch security
All LuvSide turbines are equipped with an overload clutch that ensures operational safety. As an electrical magnetic tool, the overload clutch automatically detaches itself from the generator as the generator shuts down to prevent overloading. This mechanism safeguards the turbine’s mechanical components from damage caused by over-speeding rotors.

Installing the LS Double Helix 1.0 Vertical Axis Wind Turbine
Our Savonius vertical axis wind turbines are designed to be small, compact, and easy to install.
Each purchased wind turbine comes with a fully assembled rotor secured on a transport frame and the necessary electronic components. Depending on your preference, construction foundation, and the wind condition, the rotor can be either installed on the roof or on top of a mast.
